Not physically; my body has been home for nearly three days now-
Mentally, emotionally, I arrived just now.
Nothing spectacular to report-
no wild lightening clap nor
bright-light-joining of body to soul
But certainly a coming
together.
The disjointed arrival of body and spirit-
the days of adjusting and listening only to what comes in the moment-
the remembering and recalling-
-perhaps this all is the calling back together after
the spirit gone so light
so free over the continents.
This is part of it;
Travel.
The plane delivers the body, it cannot yet be done any other way-
The spirit so free,
so light,
travels as its own pace and delivers itself
solidly, wholly
making this traveler complete
when time and pace determine.
This is travel. This is journeying. This is going out with trust, hope
and doubt-
married-
to what awaits.
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
This is why I EncaustiCamp.
in love.
