ECamp2020 Virtual Gather
July 19, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - July 24, 2020 @ 2:00 pm
$60.00 – $180A micro version of the week-long immersive retreat held annually each July in the Seattle area~
I asked myself-
If we can’t gather at Dumas Bay-looking out the windows to the view of the green grass, blooming rose bushes, and expansive waters of the Puget Sound-how can we gather?
If we must wait, because caution, right-thinking, and world-consideration beg for it-then what instead, can we do to connect, until we can connect as anticipated?
I answered-
Why not EncaustiCampVirtual?
So it is.
The format is tentatively as follows:
- Welcome: Sunday noon PST ( this will also be our ‘test’ to make sure the Zoom app functions well for everyone!)
- Presentation, feature inspiration/artist, workshop: M-F 9:00-11:00/noonish PST
- Workshops*:
- Monday Patricia Baldwin Seggebruch Cloth, Paper, Plaster, Clay: Forms for Hands
- Tuesday Michelle Belto Layers: Creating Depth and Complexity
- Wednesday Brenda Kauffman Scribes: Hand Lettering and Mark Making from a Calligraphers Desk
- Thursday Kathryn Bevier Color Worlds in the Inspired Landscape
- Friday Patricia Baldwin Seggebruch Cardboard Cathedrals: Inspirations from Found Materials

The part most missed will be the views, the shared meals, and the small beds 🙂
But the spirit and laugher will still yet exist-
Creative energy will flow-
Enthusiasm, hope, and inspiration will gather.
Wont you come along?
