I’d like to show you my nooks and crannies life
come visit for awhile in summer hang around on the porch
the patio in back is nice as well we wave and smile at the neighbors
sharing the driveway petting the dog doing their life
next door there’s room enough for a few more I keep looking into the spaces
making them fit for another a someone a more
I do feel this is enough sit with the sight of butterflies and bees
make way for the popping buds and the leaves always having their spills
it is enough
this nooked and crannied life has held many facets and facts one no more than the other
special you could say ordinary as well
they come the 5% to remind me I have tried
it’s been a good job this clearing out
of all I possess
